Invisalign

These trays are based on moulds of your mouth that are taken at the beginning of the treatment. These trays are changed after a short time of wearing them and they have done their job. The next tray is designed to put pressure on your teeth and move them in small increments. When the range of specially designed trays have been finished, your teeth will be in the desired positions, giving you that smile you have always wanted.    

In order to get the desired results, you will have to wear the Invisalign trays for 20 – 22 hours per day, every day. These can be removed in order to eat, drink, brushing and flossing your teeth or a special occasion, but should remain in place for as long as possible in order to get the best results.

When getting Invisalign, you will have an initial appointment when your dentist will take impressions of your mouth, assess your overall oral hygiene and discuss what you want to achieve. Invisalign will then make your specific Invisalign tray specifically for you. When your trays are ready, you will be issued with your first tray and small clear clips will be added to each tooth. You will wear your first tray for a specified amount of time and will then be issued your next tray when your dentist deems it time. You will send a scan of your mouth to your dentist and they will then issue instructions of when you can put in your next tray. Your dentist will be your guide via correspondence and your visits to the dentist will be kept to a minimum, saving you time and money on appointments.
